It is a place for prayers and hopes for Korean reunification. Notable landmarks include the Freedom Bridge and the original smokestack bearing bullet holes from the Korean War.
2) DMZ- The neutral zone between South and North Korea was established in 1953. It spans 250 kilometres and is fortified with barriers. It is a historic and restricted area featuring landmarks such as the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. It symbolises division and tension. Guided tours offer visitors the chance to explore its unique landscapes and gain an understanding of the dynamics of the Korean Peninsula.
3) Third Infiltration Tunnel- It is believed that the tunnels were planned as a route for a military invasion or infiltration. Each tunnel is large enough to accommodate thirty thousand soldiers in one hour. The third tunnel, discovered in 1978, extends 435 metres into South Korea beyond the ceasefire line. After listening to the story of how the tunnel was discovered, you will enter the tunnel itself and see for yourself North Korea's ambition to launch a sudden invasion.
