Penang:
Penang is a state in northwest Malaysia comprising mainland Seberang Perai and Penang Island. On the island, the state capital of George Town is home to landmarks such as colonial Fort Cornwallis, the ornate Chinese clan house Khoo Kongsi and the Kapitan Keling Mosque, all testaments to centuries of foreign influence. To the west, a funicular ascends Penang Hill, with its trails, flower gardens and panoramic views.
DAY 1: Arrival Penang - Private
Welcome to Penang. Pick up from airport, and proceed to hotel for check in.
DAY 2: Full Day Georgetown & Penang Hill Tour - Private

Georgetown, the capital City of Penang, was named after King George III of England. Take a drive through historical Georgetown to visit the most prominent buildings of the colonial era that are now protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Photo stop at Fort Cornwallis that once belonged to the English East India Company and where Captain Francis Light first landed in 1786. Next, you will enter the Clan Jetty, an intricate network of rows and rows of houses built on stilts out on the sea in the 19th century by the Chinese immigrants.
Enjoy an authentic trishaw ride through the heart of Georgetown and be fascinated by its charming colonial architecture, the modern skyscrapers of bustling Chinatown and all the colors of Little India. Stop at one of the most magnificent clan houses, Khoo Kong Si. The building features intricate carvings and woodwork bearing the mark of master craftsmen from China. Lastly, visit the majestic Thai Buddhist Temple, Wat Chayamangkalaram, which houses one of the world's largest reclining Buddhas at 33 meters. This gold –plated reclining statue has long fascinated foreign tourists

Known as the temple of 'Ten Thousand Buddhas', Kek Lok Si Temple is one of the largest and most beautiful Buddhist temples in South East Asia. This acclaimed tourist landmark has charmed millions of people with its pagodas, pavilions, fishponds, countless buddha statues and the towering bronze statue of the goddess of mercy (Kuan Yin).
Ascend Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera via the funicular train up to 800 meters above sea level to escape the heat and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Georgetown and part of the mainland. Along the way, take in and appreciate the varied flora and maybe catch a glimpse of the elusive fauna. Penang Hill is Malaysia's oldest hill station and a place where residents and non –residents escape to seek respite from the lowland heat and humidity.

• Should the Penang Hill Funicular Train not in operation, we will replace this tour with the Penang Botanical Garden.

Our first stop is the spectacular Penang Butterfly Farm where you’ll find yourself surrounded by a myriad of flickering and flitting butterflies in this specially designed natural environment. A sanctuary for over 120 species of rare and exotic tropical butterflies, the farm also houses unique live tropical insects and small reptiles including scorpions, frogs, and other fascinating species. There is also a hatchery and a 'Preserved Butterflies of the World Museum.

Visit Penang’s only Tropical Fruit Farm located in Teluk Bahang, perched on a hillslope overlooking the Indian Ocean. Opportunity to taste various mouthwatering tropical fruits in season and a choice of fruit juices.
DAY 4: Departure Penang - Private
Breakfast. Check out and departure transfer to hotel.
