The Amarnath Yatra is a sacred annual journey to the Amarnath Cave, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pilgrims trek through the Himalayas to witness a naturally formed ice lingam, considered a symbol of Shiva. The yatra takes place during the Shravan month. Despite challenging weather and rugged paths, thousands of devotees undertake this spiritual journey with deep faith and devotion each year.

Day 01: Arrival/ Srinagar to Sonmarg (91 kms: 2 hrs 32 mins)
Meet upon arrival at Srinagar airport and drive towards Sonmarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The drive offers breathtaking views of lush valleys, flowing rivers, and snow-capped mountains. On reaching Sonmarg, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, you can explore the nearby surroundings, enjoy a peaceful walk along the Sindh River, or simply soak in the natural beauty. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sonmarg.
Day 02: Sonmarg/ Baltal/ Sonmarg
After an early breakfast at Sonmarg, proceed for a scenic drive towards Baltal, which is approximately 15 km away and takes around 30–40 minutes. The route is extremely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Sindh River, lush green meadows, and towering mountains. Baltal is famously known as the base camp for the Amarnath Yatra and offers raw, untouched natural beauty with a peaceful atmosphere. After spending a few hours in Baltal, return back to Sonmarg by afternoon. The rest of the day is free for leisure—guests can explore nearby attractions in Sonmarg, enjoy local sightseeing, or relax amidst the stunning Himalayan landscape. Overnight stay at the hotel in Sonmarg.
Day 03: Sonmarg/ Srinagar (83 kms: 2- 3 hrs) + local Sightseeing
After breakfast drive back to Srinagar the distance of about 83 kms will be covered in 2-3hrs on arrival proceed for local sightseeing visiting Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet – weaving factory. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 04: Srinagar/ Airport
After breakfast transfer to Srinagar Airport Catch the flight for further Destination (as per the flight schedule).
