Day 01 – Arrival and Transfer to Kandy
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From there, you will proceed to Kandy, en route to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife attractions and a renowned elephant care and conservation sanctuary located in the village of Pinnawala. Established in 1975 to provide shelter and protection for orphaned and abandoned Asian elephants, it is home to one of the largest captive elephant herds in the world.
