General Information About the Place

Sikkim is the smallest state in India and is located in the northeastern part of the country. Sikkim is bordered by Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet and hence there is no dearth of tourist places in Sikkim, undoubtedly. Being the gateway to the Himalayas, Sikkim is known for its beautiful scenery, green meadow, crystalline lakes and towering mountain ranges. This kingdom of mountains has a personality of its own, you will be lost in the captivating destinations in the state, and also see the coexistence of Hinduism and Buddhism which has given rise to a unique and peaceful culture to the state of Sikkim.At a higher altitude, you will see that monsoon clouds often surround the mountain tops, giving the place a mesmerizing look and feel. Sikkim is a sanctuary of wildlife, primarily home to snow leopards, wild goat, black bear, blue sheep, flying squirrels, and the famous red panda. The cultural and ethnic background of the state makes it a hub for curious tourists throughout the year, Sikkim is as beautiful in winter as it is during the summer months.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Njp Railway Station / IXB (Bagdogra Airport) - Gangtok : Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Transfer to Gangtok (5500 ft /130 kms / 04 hrs). Check in Hotel, evening free on roam around. Over night at Gangtok.

Day 2

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Full Day) :A day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (departure at 07- 7:30 AM hrs ) - situated at a height of 3,780 Mts. with an average depth of 50 ft & Baba Mandir - The shrine maid in memory of sepoy Harbahajan Singh, Back to Gangtok. Evening free. Overnight stay at hotel. Note*: Nathula Pass (optional Tour on Extra Cost depends upon permit availability).

Day 3

Gangtok (sightseeing) and transfer to kalimpong : After breakfast go for local sightseeing covering Bagthang Water Falls, (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays) & Flower show. Afternoon transfer to Kalimpong. Kalimpong situated on the foothills of the Himalayas is a green destination (3,933 ft / 80 kms / 3 hrs). Evening free for roam. Over night at Hotel.

Day 4

Kalimpong Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling : After breakfast, drive for sightseeing of Delo Hills, Dr. Grahm’s Home, Pine View Nursery, Mangal Dham & Durpin Dara View Point. Afternoon Transfer to Darjeeling (2,042 m , 60 KM , 2 ½ hour drive. Over night at Hotel.

Day 5

Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing (Half Day) :Early Morning at 0400 AM visit Tiger Hill 2440 meters ,famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga & Mount Everest , on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit Mix points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Rope way, Japanese Temple & Peace pagoda. Overnight stay at Darjeeling Hotel. Optional: Rock Garden & Joy Train Ride on Extra Cost.

Day 6

Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station / (IXB )Bagdogra Airport : After breakfast leave Darjeeling and proceed towards – NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport (90 kms / 03 hrs) for your onward journey.

Notes:

In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
Tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
No Show Guest would not be given any refund nor would their tours rescheduled.
SIC means Seat In Coach Basis. The driver would communicate with the Guests if there is a change in the assigned pick up
If the Guest fails to reach the designated place within the time arranged, there will be no replacement given and the arrangement needs to be made on your own.
The Guide will be available only for some specific tours/excursions.
If there is any change in flights by airline then tours and Transfers rescheduling will not be done.
Above Mentioned Itinerary, Flight, Timing & rates are subject to change. Hotels, services, and Air Ticket quoted are subject to the final Confirmation from Hotels, Suppliers and Airlines, Else similar property/ Airlines (Hotels) will be used.
After booking Confirmation Rs. 1000/- per person per Amendment Charges.
Room type Twin or Double is at the sole discretion of Hotels. Hotels allocate the rooms on Run of The House basis.
It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of nongranting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting therefrom.
In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected before 30 days of travel: Visa Fee is non Refundable, the booking amount of 25% will be refunded back. Less than 30 Days travel: 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
