Indrahar Pass Trek

General Information About the Place

Perched at a towering height of 14,245 ft above sea level, the spectacular Indrahar Pass lies at the border between breathtaking Kangra and Chamba districts. Though a short one, this trek is considered to be a bit challenging as the trekking trail consists of numerous sharp ascents and steep climbs. This is one of the most fascinating treks that Himachal has to offer. Owing to the magnificent view of the might Dhauladhar, the lush green valleys, and the exotic flora and fauna will truly leave you awestruck. The path passes by the placid crystal blue waters of Lake Mankiani and Kareri. Hike through the steep passing mostly through the lush green landscapes of the Dhauladhar Range, this challenging yet tempting trek takes about 4 days to complete.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Report at Dharamshala Bus stand and our representative meet and greet you and transfer to Mcleodgunj Starting point for the trek from McLoedganj to Triund the first day we cover the total distance of 9 km. From here we see a beautiful view of the Dhauladhar range on the other side Kangra valley. Overnight stay in camps followed by lavish dinner

Day 2

After breakfast we start our second-day trek towards Laka Got it took around 3 to 4 hours to reach, by trekking of 7 km. The en-route trek there is Snowline Cafe, it is 2 km from Triund. Laka Got is situated near a small glacier, which is full of snow in early summer. Laka Got is an ideal place for the campsite. Overnight stay at camps followed by lavish dinner.

Day 3

After early breakfast, today is the day when we trek to the mighty Indrahar Pass. Today we cover the longest trek of the tour which is around 12 km, and the toughest one it almost takes 6 hours to reach the top through Ilaqa Paas. The route from Ilaqa Pass to Indrahar Pass is the toughest one and is completely uphill. The terrain is mostly rocky. After reaching Indrahar Pass, capture some memories of beautiful peaks and valley. Overnight stay at Camps in Laka Got followed by lavish Dinner.

Day 4

After early breakfast Start trek early in the morning halt at Triund. Be careful while trekking down as the trail is rocky. After reaching Mcleodgunj our representative drops you at Dharamshala Bus stand for your further journey towards your hometown with sweet memories of this beautiful trip.

Items of personal nature such as phone calls, room services, minibars, pay movies, laundry, etc. or until and unless mentioned in the Hotel Voucher.
Country’s Tourist Fee wherever applicable.
National Park Fees.
Rates may change in the case of hotel rates, transport rates, government taxes or entrance fees.
Transfer Surcharges in case of Public Holidays.

Notes:

In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
Tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
No Show Guest would not be given any refund nor would their tours rescheduled.
SIC means Seat In Coach Basis. The driver would communicate with the Guests if there is a change in the assigned pick up
If the Guest fails to reach the designated place within the time arranged, there will be no replacement given and the arrangement needs to be made on your own.
The Guide will be available only for some specific tours/excursions.
If there is any change in flights by airline then tours and Transfers rescheduling will not be done.
Above Mentioned Itinerary, Flight, Timing & rates are subject to change. Hotels, services, and Air Ticket quoted are subject to the final Confirmation from Hotels, Suppliers and Airlines, Else similar property/ Airlines (Hotels) will be used.
After booking Confirmation Rs. 1000/- per person per Amendment Charges.
Room type Twin or Double is at the sole discretion of Hotels. Hotels allocate the rooms on Run of The House basis.
It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of nongranting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting therefrom.
In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected before 30 days of travel: Visa Fee is non Refundable, the booking amount of 25% will be refunded back. Less than 30 Days travel: 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
