Beas Kund Trek

General Information About the Place

Beas Kund has always been a famous trek around Manali. After all, it takes you right to the source of the river that flows through the town. (You might have followed the very same river upstream while getting into Manali!)Standing here, there is also a keen sense of being near the source of the raging river you see in the valley below. This emerald kund branches off into streams, tumbling waterfalls right until it converges into the boiling Beas river.It is believed that Rishi Vyas, who wrote the Mahabharata took his daily bath in this lake. Itâ€™s possible that the term Beas Kund has been derived from Vyas, the sage; and Kund, a lake.This combination of big snowy summits towering above you, the greenery of the grasslands, and the lake draws everyone to this trek.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Report at Manali Volvo Bus stand and our representative meet and greet you and transfer to Solang Nala (a short drive of 12 km ) Starting point for Beas Kund Trek later start your trek to Bakrathatch ( 13 Kms Trek ), starting 8 km is along with Beas River and first halt at Dhundi through the forests. Later we reach our campsite (Bakrathatch). En-route we the peaks of Deo Tibba, Indrasaan Peak, and seven sisters as well. Overnight in Camps followed by Dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, we start trekking towards Beas Kund. The route is full of rocks in summers and snow in winters. After 4-5 hours of trek, we will reach our destination, the breath-taking views of Beas Kund give energy to everyone. The Lake (Kund) is the origin of River Beas. After spending some time capture beautiful pictures and eat some food here, we start our trek back to our camp in Bakkarthatch. Overnight stay in Camps followed by Dinner.

Day 3

After early breakfast, we start trek to Solang Nala ( 13 Kms Trek ) & from there drive back to Manali Bus Stand for your onward journey towards to your home with sweet memories of the tour.

Early Check-in, Late Check out as per the Hotel Policy and availability.
Items of personal nature such as phone calls, room services, minibars, pay movies, laundry, etc. or until and unless mentioned in the Hotel Voucher.
Country’s Tourist Fee wherever applicable.
National Park Fees.
Rates may change in the case of hotel rates, transport rates, government taxes or entrance fees.
Transfer Surcharges in case of Public Holidays.

Notes:

In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
Tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
No Show Guest would not be given any refund nor would their tours rescheduled.
SIC means Seat In Coach Basis. The driver would communicate with the Guests if there is a change in the assigned pick up
If the Guest fails to reach the designated place within the time arranged, there will be no replacement given and the arrangement needs to be made on your own.
The Guide will be available only for some specific tours/excursions.
If there is any change in flights by airline then tours and Transfers rescheduling will not be done.
Above Mentioned Itinerary, Flight, Timing & rates are subject to change. Hotels, services, and Air Ticket quoted are subject to the final Confirmation from Hotels, Suppliers and Airlines, Else similar property/ Airlines (Hotels) will be used.
After booking Confirmation Rs. 1000/- per person per Amendment Charges.
Room type Twin or Double is at the sole discretion of Hotels. Hotels allocate the rooms on Run of The House basis.
It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of nongranting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting therefrom.
In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected before 30 days of travel: Visa Fee is non Refundable, the booking amount of 25% will be refunded back. Less than 30 Days travel: 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
