Day Wise Itinerary

 

Day 01 – Arrival and Transfer to Kandy 
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From there, you will proceed to Kandy, en route to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife attractions and a renowned elephant care and conservation sanctuary located in the village of Pinnawala. Established in 1975 to provide shelter and protection for orphaned and abandoned Asian elephants, it is home to one of the largest captive elephant herds in the world. Set within a scenic 25-acre coconut estate along the banks of the Maha Oya River, the sanctuary offers visitors a unique opportunity to observe and learn about elephant conservation while experiencing close encounters with these majestic animals

 

Also visit a local spice garden and discover Sri Lanka’s rich heritage of herbs and spices while learning about their cultivation, traditional uses, and the wide range of products derived from them.Arrive in Kandy and Check in at Senani Hotel.

Day 02 – Kandy > Nuwara Eliya 
After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a sightseeing and experiential tour of Kandy, beginning with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Thereafter, enjoy a leisurely floral walk through the beautifully landscaped Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, locally known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most revered religious and cultural landmarks in Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated within the royal palace complex of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy, the temple enshrines the sacred left canine tooth relic of Lord Buddha, making it one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in the Buddhist world. Rich in history, spirituality, and architectural beauty, the temple continues to attract devotees and visitors from around the globe. 


The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya is one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated horticultural attractions and the country’s largest botanical garden. Spanning over 147 acres along the scenic banks of the Mahaweli River and located just outside Kandy, this former royal pleasure garden dates back centuries and is home to more than 4,000 species of plants. Renowned for its magnificent collection of orchids, towering tropical trees, vibrant flowering plants, and beautifully landscaped grounds, the gardens offer visitors a peaceful and refreshing experience amidst nature.

Also, visit a Gem museum & A Batik Factory if time permits. Thereafter, you will proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is a picturesque highland city nestled in the central mountains of Sri Lanka at an altitude of 1,868 meters above sea level. Often referred to as “Little England,” it was developed during the British colonial era as a cool-climate retreat. The city is renowned for its rolling emerald tea plantations, colonial-style bungalows, well-manicured gardens, and refreshing cool climate, offering a striking contrast to the tropical lowlands of the island. Day 03 – Nuwara Eliya > Colombo 
After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Colombo. Colombo is the vibrant commercial capital and largest city of Sri Lanka, offering a dynamic blend of colonial heritage, modern cityscapes, and diverse cultural influences along the shores of the Indian Ocean. As the country’s main gateway for international travellers, Colombo is more than just a transit destination—it is a lively urban center where historic landmarks, contemporary developments, local experiences, and cosmopolitan energy come together to create a unique and memorable experience. Day 04 – Bentota > Colombo & Departure 
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the airport for your departure flight 

Booking Procedure

 

  • Date of booking to 30 days prior to travel 30% and bookings done which are non-refundable.
  • 30 to 15 days prior to travel 50% cancellation
  • 15 to 7 days prior to travel 75% cancellation
  • 0 to 7 days prior to travel or No show 100% cancellation

Cancellation Policy

 

  • The cancellation policy is subject to change. It purely depends upon the cancellation terms of the respective hotel and the peak/off-season rates.
  • Refunds will take 15 – 30 working days to be credited back to the bank account.
  • The airline refund will be credited back once PML receives the same from the airline.

Please Note:

 

  • In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
  • Tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
  • No Show Guest would not be given any refund nor would their tours rescheduled.
  • SIC means Seat In Coach Basis. The driver would communicate with the Guests if there is a change in the assigned pick up
  • If the Guest fails to reach the designated place within the time arranged, there will be no replacement given and the arrangement needs to be made on your own.
  • The Guide will be available only for some specific tours/excursions.
  • If there is any change in flights by airline then tours and Transfers rescheduling will not be done.
  • Above Mentioned Itinerary, Flight, Timing & rates are subject to change. Hotels, services, and Air Ticket quoted are subject to the final Confirmation from Hotels, Suppliers and Airlines, Else similar property/ Airlines (Hotels) will be used.
  • After booking Confirmation Rs. 1000/- per person per Amendment Charges. Only if booking allows amendments.
  • Room type Twin or Double is at the sole discretion of Hotels. Hotels allocate the rooms on Run of The House basis.
  • It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
  • It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
  • Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
  • As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of no granting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting there from.
  • In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected : Visa Fee is non Refundable.
  • 2% TCS and 5% GST will be charged extra.
