Day 01 – Arrival and Transfer to Kandy
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. From there, you will proceed to Kandy, en route to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic wildlife attractions and a renowned elephant care and conservation sanctuary located in the village of Pinnawala. Established in 1975 to provide shelter and protection for orphaned and abandoned Asian elephants, it is home to one of the largest captive elephant herds in the world. Set within a scenic 25-acre coconut estate along the banks of the Maha Oya River, the sanctuary offers visitors a unique opportunity to observe and learn about elephant conservation while experiencing close encounters with these majestic animals

Day 02 – Kandy > Nuwara Eliya
After Breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a sightseeing and experiential tour of Kandy, beginning with a visit to the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Thereafter, enjoy a leisurely floral walk through the beautifully landscaped Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, locally known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most revered religious and cultural landmarks in Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated within the royal palace complex of the ancient Kingdom of Kandy, the temple enshrines the sacred left canine tooth relic of Lord Buddha, making it one of the holiest pilgrimage sites in the Buddhist world. Rich in history, spirituality, and architectural beauty, the temple continues to attract devotees and visitors from around the globe.
The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya is one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated horticultural attractions and the country’s largest botanical garden. Spanning over 147 acres along the scenic banks of the Mahaweli River and located just outside Kandy, this former royal pleasure garden dates back centuries and is home to more than 4,000 species of plants. Renowned for its magnificent collection of orchids, towering tropical trees, vibrant flowering plants, and beautifully landscaped grounds, the gardens offer visitors a peaceful and refreshing experience amidst nature.
