General Information About the Place

The oldest constantly inhabited cities in the world is Madurai (Temples City or City that never sleeps) - famous for its Dravidian style temples and rich architecture which would seem as if coming straight out of an interesting history book. The rich heritage will leave you in awe. Madurai is famous for the Chithrai Festival (April-May) and for its yearly bull run "Jallikattu" (In Jan). Rameshwaran is a small coastal town in Tamil Nadu again famous for its temples and ghost town which is in ruins since the destructive 1964 cyclone. The city is deserted post that. Touch the southernmost tip of India in Trivandrum (Cape Comorin.) The sunset/sunrise from the beach at Vivekanandapuram is so peaceful a site.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

MADURAI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING AND DARSHAN Arrive at Madurai airport/station. Meet and get assisted by our representative in your hotel transfer. After some rest proceed for a Madurai sightseeing tour. You'll be amazed to know that some of best places to visit in Tamil Nadu are in Madurai. Here you can visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple and Minakshi-Sundareshwara Temple. While in Madurai don't forget to enjoy the light and sound show at Thirumanalaik Hall.

Day 2

MADURAI - RAMESHWARAM After early breakfast check-out from hotel and drive to Rameshwaram, on arrival check-in to hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Rameshwaram -visit Agnitheertham, Ramjharoka temple, Ramanathaswamy Temple, Dhanushkodi and Adam's bridge. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.

Day 3

RAMESHWARAM - KANYAKUMARI After early breakfast, check-out from Hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Upon arrival check-into Hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari in afternoon. Day 4

Day 5

KOVALAM Morning after breakfast, get ready for a half day Kovalam city tour. Explore the marvelous Padmanabhapuram Temple, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum, and Zoo. That are rightly listed as one of the best things to see in Kerala. After city tour, head back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6

KOVALAM DEPARTURE Next day after breakfast proceed for transfer to Kovalam Airport/ Railway Station for return journey.

It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of nongranting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting therefrom.
In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected before 30 days of travel: Visa Fee is non Refundable, the booking amount of 25% will be refunded back. Less than 30 Days travel: 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
