Visa Guidelines for Argentina

Passport:

Original passport with the validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping. *Attach all old passports (if any).*

Argentina Visa Application form:

One visa application form printed back to back and Additional application form need to be duly filled & signed by the applicant.

Please Note: Applicant has to mention his contact number and email id in the form.

Photo Specification:

Two recent passport size coloured photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter:

Original Covering-Letter in English & Spanish language from applicant stating his name, designation, passport number and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the applicant and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Embassy of the Argentine Republic, New Delhi.

Please Note:

  • Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed .
  • Covering-letter in English language should be duly notarized.

Financials:

  • An original Bank Statement for last six months stating the name & contact number of the Branch Manager with Bank seal.
  • ITR for last 3 years.
  • Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque.

Time Taken:

21 Working Days.

Proof of Occupation:

Hotel Booking

Accommodation Proof:

  • Self Employed: Property Deed in the Applicant’s name.
  • Employed: Proof of employment like Salary Slip or Appointment Letter / NOC from Employer.
  • Student: Leave Sanction Letter from school.

Travel dates mentioned in ticket should match with dates mentioned in hotel & Covering Letter:

  • Travel dates mentioned in ticket should match with dates mentioned in hotel & Covering Letter
  • Applicant has to provide a Day to Day itinerary on the letter head of the tour organizer in Argentina.
  • Travel dates must show departure with the gap of minimum 10 working days from the date of submission of application.

Medical:

Nil

Authorization Letter:

Applicant will have to submit an authorization letter authorizing Paul Merchants limited to submit and collect documents.

  • Embassy may call the applicant for personal interview post submission of the application.
  • Applicant's holding a valid multiple entry visa in his old passport can travel with the same provided he needs to carry the new passport along with the old passport at the time of travel.
  • It is advisable for applicants to carry an Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) at the time of travel.
