Passport:

Original Passport with validity of minimum 6-9 months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.

Please Note:
a) Attach copies of the bio data pages of passport.
b) Attach all your old passports (if any)

Uganda Visa Application form:

Two visa application forms duly filled and signed

Photo Specification:

Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter:

Covering-Letter from the applicant mentioning his/her name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to – The Visa Officer,Uganda High Commission, New Delhi.

• Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.
• A letter from the employer stating the designation of the applicant and leaves dates granted. The same goes for self employed business people.

Visiting:

If Visiting relatives / friends- copies of passport, work permit copy, proof of residence in Uganda should accompany the application form..

Hotel Confirmation:

Hotel Booking receipt from Uganda has to be directly faxed to the Embassy and one copy to us.

Ticket:

Confirmed return air ticket.

Medical:

Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) has to be submitted along with the visa application & applicant has to carry the same at the time of travel.

Financials:

Original Personal Bank Statement for last six months with minimum balance equivalent to INR 1,00,000

Note:

The Kenya Embassy also issues a combined East Africa Tourist Visa which will be valid for 3 African Countries (Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda). Kindly refer Kenya's tourist checklist for combined East Africa Tourist Visa.

Minors (Under 16 years old):

• Who are endorsed in parent's passport will also require 2 photographs.
• Who are not traveling with parents will require consent in writing from the parents.

• Single Entry - Normal 5695 + VFS Charge + Service Charge
• Single Entry Urgent 11390 + VFS Charge + Service Charge
• Multiple Entry - Normal 13400 + VFS Charge + Service Charge
• Multiple Entry Urgent 26800 + VFS Charge + Service Charge
