Day Wise Itinerary

 

Day 1     CAPE TOWN - ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a representative meets you for a transfer to your pre-booked hotel.
Cape Town is one of the most popular long-haul destinations in the world. Due to its unique topography, it is also one of the easiest places in which to orientate oneself as long as you remember that with Table Mountain behind you and Robben Island before you; you are facing north, looking across Table Bay and up the west coast of Africa. Day 2      CAPE TOWN - CITY TOUR                                                                             

After breakfast leave on a half-day Mother City tour. You will go for a scenic coastal drive through Clifton & Sea Point & later tour passes the Houses of Parliament, the Castle, the SA Museum, and a few other historical sights – District Six, Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge & ending at the bustling Greenmarket Square.  A cable car ride takes you up the Table Mountain (weather permitting otherwise Signal Hill) for a breath-taking view over the city (entrance is included) Return to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel 

 

Day 3    CAPE TOWN - PENINSULA TOUR
Breakfast is taken at the hotel. Depart on a full day Peninsula tour.
This comprehensive tour shows you the best of the spectacular Cape Peninsula and why it is it's called the Fairest Cape. Travel past Sea Point and Camps Bay, past the famous beaches of Clifton and Llandudno towards Hout Bay. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard. Pass through Noordhoek and Scarborough. Later you will take to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Enjoy the funicular ride aboard the “Flying Dutchman” and enjoy the unforgettable spectacular views. Later get the photo opportunity to take some pictures at the second southernmost tip of the African continent. Visit the beautiful Boulders Beach and have the option to sit among the famous colony of Jackass Penguins. Thereafter we enjoy a short stop at the naval port of Simon's Town and know about the legend of Able Seaman Just Nuisance the Great Dane Dog that was inducted in Royal Navy. Return to the hotel. Day 4    CAPE TOWN – OUDTSHOORN                       
After breakfast, check and transfer to Oudtshoorn. (421 Kms, approx. 5 ½ Hours) It is known as the ‘Feather Capital of the World’ thanks to its huge ostrich industry. Arrive and in the afternoon, enjoy a tour of the Wildlife Ranch where you will visit a crocodile Park where you have opportunity to take pictures with Cheetah. Check into hotel and spend rest of evening in the comfort of your hotel.Overnight at Hotel

 


DAY 5    OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA    

After breakfast leave for a tour of the Cango Caves - In Oudtshoorn you go underground to marvel at the icy formations in the Cango Caves, regarded as one of South Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. 
Later enjoy a tour of the Ostrich Farm before your transfer to Knysna. (119 kms. Approx 2 hour)
Arrive in Knysna, later you will go on a cruise on the vast Knysna Lagoon. Enjoy an amazing view of the imposing sandstone ‘Heads’ which guard the sea entrance to Knysna’s huge tidal lagoon, and the forests, marshes and pristine beaches surrounding it. Evening, you check into the hotel. Overnight at Hotel


    

DAY 6    KNYSNA – GEORGE - JOHANNESBURG - SUN CITY                                    

After breakfast transfer to George airport (63 kms. approx. 1 hour) to board a flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you are met by a Travcare representative for a transfer to Sun City. (175 kms, approx. 2 hours 30 mins)
The Sun City complex is surrounded by two championship golf courses, numerous swimming pools and a huge man-made lake offering various water sports. Optional activities include Hot Air Ballooning. Enjoy lunch at the Raj Indian Restaurant (own account). Then you could relax at the Valley of the Waves or take a walk through the gardens of the Lost City. This magical city knows no limits - you have the chance to win a fortune at the Casino and Entertainment Centre, there are lavish extravaganzas and a multitude of restaurants to cater for every taste.Overnight at Hotel


DAY 7    SUN CITY                                                                                                         

After breakfast you will enjoy your day at leisure. Optional game drives to Pilanesberg Nature Reserve to see the Big 5 (cost of the game drive is not included).Overnight at Hotel.     

 

DAY 8    SUN CITY - KRUGER                                                                                                 

After breakfast transfer to Kruger National Park. (570 kms. Approx. 7 Hours for Kruger Gate & Anew Resort Hazyview Approx 530 kms 6 hours 30 mins  & Imbali Safari lodge 650 kms approx. 8 hours)

The Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the oldest and largest reserves in Africa. The park boasts a tremendous variety of game – The Big 5 and bird life in its numerous habitats.  You should see: elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog, lion, spotted hyenas, baboon, hippo, impala, kudu, vervet monkey, waterbuck, Tsessebe, wildebeest, bush baby, mongoose, duiker, steenbok, klipspringer, genet, bats.  You may see: leopard, wild dog, cheetah, roan antelope, sable antelope, bat-eared fox, rhino, honey badger, porcupine, rebook, aardvark, aardwolf, civet, and caracal and serval suni.Arrive and check in the lodge. Day 09    KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Collect packed breakfast and depart for morning game drive inside the Kruger national Park, enjoy lunch (own cost) and proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Day 10    KRUGER NATIONAL PARK JOHANNESBURG                           

After breakfast depart for Johannesburg. ((430 kms approx. 5 hours from Kruger gate & approx. 415 kms 5 hours Anew Resort Hazyview, 530 kms approx. 7 hours from Imbali).On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel    

 

DAY 11    JOHANNESBURG 

After breakfast leave for a Gold Reef City tour (Open Thursdays to Sundays only). Where you will see reconstruction of Johannesburg during the Gold Rush era, built around a mine.  Activities include a Victorian fun fair, miners' houses, brewery, pubs, restaurants and stock exchange.  You can watch molten gold being poured and take a trip down an old mine shaft.  Tribal dancing adds to the fun. Return to hotel. Overnight at hotel


    
DAY 12    JOHANNESBURG DEPARTURE                       

 After breakfast, transfer to OR Tambo International for an evening flight back home (430 kms approx. 5 hours from Kruger gate & approx. 415 kms 5 hours Anew Resort Hazyview, 530 kms approx. 7 hours from Imbali)

The official check-in time at all hotels will be 1500hrs.
The official check-out time at all hotels will be 1000hrs.

Cancellation Policy

 

  • 35 days or more prior to departure: Rs. 20,000/- per person.
  • 34 Days to 15 Days prior to Departure 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14 Days to 3 Days prior to Departure: 50% of the Tour Cost.
  • 8 Days to 3 Days prior to Departure 100% of the tour cost.

  • Hotels/airlines will be subject to availability till reconfirmation.
  • Given cost is estimated based on the lowest airfare and hotel rates existing as of now. We don’t hold any confirmation for hotels/airlines. It’s subject to availability at the time of booking. Any difference in cost shall be borne by the passenger.
  • Any further increase in airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, a change in government regulations, taxes, etc., charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers.will not be held responsible for them.
  • Your tours and transfers are based on Seat in Coach Basis. Seat in Coach Transfers departs only at fixed time and stops at different hotels Enroute where other passengers may be picked /dropped off. It can be more time consuming.(Its more time consuming but economical)
  • Mid night surcharge applicable for all transfer operated een 2300 hrs and 0600 hrs.
  • Room allocation Twin rooms/double rooms will be as per the availability at the time of check in. 90% of rooms are Twin rooms & there is no guarantee for room with Double Bed.
  • Room Rates based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for Sea facing/Lake facing Rooms.
  • Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost. You can contact hotel travel desk counter or our agent to book optional sightseeing.
  • It is recommended to buy Local Sim Card, to make local calls for reconfirmation with coach drivers, operators, & airline office.
  • Portages and Coach Captain Tips are extra.
  • There is No Refund for unutilized Service.
  • International Hotel Check in time 1400hrs, Check out Time 1200hrs.
  • If Dinners are booked you will be given Dinner Vouchers excluding transfers. You will need to make your own way to the restaurant for the booked time.
  • Baggage allowance is 20 Kg for Check in Luggage. Hand Bag allowance is 7Kg.
  • You are not allowed to eat/drink in coach
  • The above program is only indicative, and the passenger has to verify each day’s program from the local guide.
  • Photographs are compulsory for on arrival visas. Please keep one passport Copy Xerox and one Ticket copy Xerox ready to be submitted for on arrival visas.
  • It is always advisable to keep 2 Photographs with you during the journey. Please keep one Xerox copy of your passport with your relative, in India and one Xerox copy of passport with you during the travel.
  • It is most important to have International Travel Insurance for the entire period of your stay in foreign country.
  • For NRI –Passengers staying in India for more than 180 days will have to take Police Clearance Certificate from Commissioner of Police for which Flamingo will not be responsible. Passengers are requested to submit Xerox copy of Passport along with page showing arrival stamp in India.
