Meydan Stable

Meydan is Dubai’s horse-racing club that organizes regular racing events every year. It is a worth experience. The horse-racing season includes several racing events. Each race meeting includes amazing entertainment and dining and packages. You can take a fantastic stable tour where you can watch the horses being trained on the track after breakfast and then head to the stables to watch them take a dip in the dedicated horse pool. Here you can get some great views of the Dubai skyline as well.

Bur Dubai

Bur Dubai is a historical center that is one of the oldest places to visit in Dubai. It is not as sophisticated as the new city but gives you a sneak peek into the past. It is the best place to have look at the traditional, old houses that were constructed at least a century ago. It also houses the Dubai Museum that is located in the old Al Fahidi Fort. It is a must-visit if you are a history buff and want to understand the history of UAE better.

Al Bastakiya Quarters

The Al Bastakiya Quarters includes culturally significant sights. It is made of the narrow-cobbled lanes and you can take a stroll around admiring the old houses that used to be made out of black coral that reflect the artistic side of Al Bastakiya. Al Bastakiya has many stores selling souvenirs. This place holds the memories of the bygone era that pre-dates the federation of the Emirates. Walking through the streets with the unkempt roads and the rugged walls will take you back in time with a display of many different cultures that had an impact in the region.

Spice Souk

Away from the busy shopping malls and skyscrapers, you can spend some leisure time with the drifting smells of aromatic spices at Dubai Spice Souk. Here you can find every kind of exotic spices, ranging from turmeric and chili to saffron. Make sure that you do not forget to pick up a box or two of the famous local dates. While exploring the Dubai Spice Souk you will discover a range of spices, herbs, incense and traditional medicines that will surprise you with variety and choices. 

Al Nassma

Have you ever wondered what a camel milk chocolate will taste like? Head to Al Nassma for these exquisite chocolates. While in Dubai, you might have come across various products out of camel milk, such as cheese, butter, chocolates, cakes and so on. But not many travelers are aware of the chocolates. They are more of a gourmet offering and are available only at selected places. Make sure to up some chocolates for your friends and family back home from Al Nassma.

Dig Daga Farms

The Dig Daga Farms is located in Ras al Khaimah Emirate which is about 114 kilometers from Dubai.  You will spot greenery, rolling hills and cultivated land here instead of the sand dunes. Dig Daga is a picnic area that attracts many local Emiratis, so it is the best opportunity to interact with them. Some of the farms let you buy fresh dairy products, like milk. They provide the finest microgreens and herbs to the top restaurants in Dubai.

Dubai Coffee Museum

While you are in Dubai, make sure to visit the Dubai Coffee Museum in Al Fahidi. It is a heaven for a coffee lover that brings cultures together over a cup of caffeine. The coffee museum offers a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your coffee.
