General Information About the Place

Leh, town, Ladakh union territory, northern India. The town is located in the valley of the upper Indus River at an elevation of 11,550 feet (3,520 metres), surrounded by the towering peaks of the Ladakh Range (a southeastern extension of the Karakoram Range).Leh is in one of the most remote areas of the Indian-administered portion of the the Kashmir region and is one of the highest permanently inhabited towns in the world. It was built as a terminus for caravans from Asia. Today Leh is reached only by one main highway, the Treaty Road, which connects it to Srinagar to the west and to Dêmqog, Tibet (in a Chinese-administered part of Kashmir), to the southeast. The economy relies mainly on trade, but fruit growing and other agriculture are also important. An old palace of the kings of Ladakh and the Sankar monastery overlook the town.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Arrive Leh: Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatise. Overnight at Hotel. (Dinner)

Day 2
Leh to Alchi to Leh : After breakfast excursion to visit the 1000 year old paintings of Alchi Monastery 68 km from Leh en-route visit the great statue of Maitreya Buddha at Likir monastery, Sangam of Indus & Zanskar River which are the two major rivers in Ladakh, Magnetic Hill and military Hall of Fame.
Day 3
 Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs): After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Nubra. (B’Fast / Dinner)
Day 4
 Nubra – Pangong Lake – Leh :After Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.), ride through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motor able road in the world. Visit Shyok River & Durbuk, Arrive at Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake with multi-colour Reflectio6ns and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake. (B’Fast/ Dinner)
Day 5
 Pangong – Leh : This morning, after breakfast, drive around the Pangong Lake and don't forget to click photos!! Continue to Leh. En route visit Hemis Monastery hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest Gompa in Ladakh. Visit Stok Palace, famous for beautiful gardens and the view of sunrise as well as sunset is amazing from the palace. At present, the palace is open to visits and presents a collection of royal attires, crown and other royal materials. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Leh. (B’Fast/Dinner)
Day 6
 Leh Departure :Today, bid farewell to your Magical Leh tour, as you are transferred to Airport in Leh for your onward journey. (Breakfast)

Booking & Payment Procedure

  • Non-refundable booking amount of Rs 10,000/- per person along with ID card photocopy at the time of booking if departure date is more than 60 days.
  • 100% tour amount 45 Days before departure

Cancellation Policy

  • Sixty days before departure - Booking amount or Rs 10,000/- P.P
  • 45-60 days before departure - 25% of the tour cost.
  • 45-30 days before departure - 50% of the tour cost.
  • 30-01 days before departure – 100% of the tour cost.
  • No Show Due To Any Reason – 100% of the tour cost.
  • (Above cancellation policy not applicable if the entire country or state goes to lock down due to any reason. Passenger would get refunds after deducting PML Holidays service charges.)
