General Information About the Place

Guwahati is a major city in eastern India in Assam and is the gateway to the north east India. One of the fastest growing city of the world and is 5th fastest growing among Indian cities. It is blessed with a vast history and has a number of ancient temples, which led to it being called as "City of Temples". Guwahati is one of the most beautiful cities with the picturesque Brahmaputra, river islands, beaches, thick tropical green cover, lakes, hills and beautiful and lively native population. All these makes Guwahati one of the best places to visit. Shillong, capital of scenic Meghalaya, in northeast India, is aptly known as "Scotland of the East" as the rolling hills, and lush landscapes reminded European settlers of Scotland. You can breathe in the mystic and musical air while soaking in the beauty of the hilly terrains loaded with pine groves.

Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati Railway Station / Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU).After Meet and Greet , Transfers to Hotel . In Afternoon visit to Umananda Temple which is located on Peacock Island, which stands out as the world's smallest inhabited riverine island. In the evening take a cruise on Mighty Brahmaputra River - Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 2

After Breakfast transfers from Guwahati to Kaziranga. After Check n visit to famous Kaziranga National park - 220 kilometers in 4 hours drive.Lunch on the way. Kaziranga National Park, the home of the One Horned Rhinoceros - In the evening visit nearby Tea Estate - Check-in to a Jungle resort on arrival - Evening free for leisure – Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 3

After Breakfast, enjoy Jeep Safari - Return to the hotel for Lunch - In the evening, proceed to Western Range of Kaziranga National Park on jeep safari -Evening free for leisure - Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 4

After Breakfast - Visit to Kakochang waterfall is 13 kilometers from Bokakhat or/and the ruins of the ancient Numaligarh - The tea gardens of Hathkhuli, Methoni, Difalu, Behora Borchapori are also other local attractions - In the evening tribal or Bihu dance (subject to availability) by log fire along with dinner - Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 5

After Breakfast transfer from Kaziranga to Shillong. Drive to Shillong - 280 kilometers 6 hours - Lunch on route at Barapani Umiam Lake - An imposing placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills, one the best places to visit, Check-in to the hotel - In the afternoon one is free to visit the local market. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.

Day 6

After Breakfast - Next drive to Cherrapunjee 60 kilometers 1hour, the wettest place in the world - The beautiful waterfall, Nohka - likai is at Cherrapunjee. There are some famous caves in and around Cherrapunjee which you can explore. On your return to Shillong, visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak for some stunning views. Overnight stay at hotel in Shillong.

Day 7

After Breakfast transfers from Shillong to Guhawati Railway Station / Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU).

Notes:

In case of any unprecedented hike in airfare, hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra.
Tour can be canceled or postponed due to natural calamities or any political issues.
No Show Guest would not be given any refund nor would their tours rescheduled.
SIC means Seat In Coach Basis. The driver would communicate with the Guests if there is a change in the assigned pick up
If the Guest fails to reach the designated place within the time arranged, there will be no replacement given and the arrangement needs to be made on your own.
The Guide will be available only for some specific tours/excursions.
If there is any change in flights by airline then tours and Transfers rescheduling will not be done.

After booking Confirmation Rs. 1000/- per person per Amendment Charges.
Room type Twin or Double is at the sole discretion of Hotels. Hotels allocate the rooms on Run of The House basis.
It is entirely your responsibility to arrange, provide and carry on tour valid travel documents including Passport, which is valid for a period of at least six months from the date of travel on the tour with necessary Visa/s and immigration clearance (if applicable), confirmed air tickets, documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, limb and property for the duration of the tour, medical clearances, inoculation/vaccination certificates as the case may be to be able to travel as per the tour itinerary.
Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in surface transportation and land arrangements which may come into effect prior to departure. The tour price is subject to increase without notice if this rate changes substantially prior to departure.
It is entirely your responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) / Tickets / Visas / Insurance Policies carefully and to let the Company know immediately in the event of any error.
Itinerary may be changed by tour manager while execution of the tour hence do not fix your own program at all as the itinerary is subject to change.
As granting or rejecting visas and immigration clearance is the sole prerogative of the concerned sovereign Government, the Company shall neither be responsible in case of nongranting of such documents nor liable for any delay, denial or other related act or for any loss, expense, damage or cost resulting therefrom.
In case, your visa is applied through us and is rejected before 30 days of travel: Visa Fee is non Refundable, the booking amount of 25% will be refunded back. Less than 30 Days travel: 25% of the booking amount will be charged.
