General Information About the Place

Leh, town, Ladakh union territory, northern India. The town is located in the valley of the upper Indus River at an elevation of 11,550 feet (3,520 metres), surrounded by the towering peaks of the Ladakh Range (a southeastern extension of the Karakoram Range).Leh is in one of the most remote areas of the Indian-administered portion of the the Kashmir region and is one of the highest permanently inhabited towns in the world. It was built as a terminus for caravans from Asia. Today Leh is reached only by one main highway, the Treaty Road, which connects it to Srinagar to the west and to Dêmqog, Tibet (in a Chinese-administered part of Kashmir), to the southeast. The economy relies mainly on trade, but fruit growing and other agriculture are also important. An old palace of the kings of Ladakh and the Sankar monastery overlook the town. Pop. Day Wise Schedule

Day 1

Arrive Leh: Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will be met by our  representative and transferred to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to  acclimatize.Proper rest must be taken before you go out.Enough sleep,good food will help your body get used to the heights,and low oxygen.Evening visit Shanti Stupa, situated on a hilltop in Chanspa built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu Gyomyo Nakamura. It provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh. Stroll around in local  bazaar in Leh to understand the Leh Culture.Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Leh.(Lunch & Dinner)

Day 2
Leh City Tour: (After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing)Shey Palace: The Shey Palace complex structures located on a hillock and was royal residence of Ladhak Moarchs.It contains a huge Shahyamuni Buddha statue also.Thiksey: Monestry is situated at 11,600 ft. Thiksey is one of the largest and archtecturally most impressive gompa.There are several temples in this gompa,containing images stupas and wall painting of Buddha’s which are exquisite.Stok Palace Museum: Located instead Stok Palace,houses Royal Crown.Stok Palace and museum was built in the year 1825, by King Tespal Tondup Namgyal.At present the place has a collection of royal dresses and crown etc.which is open for travellers.Dinner & Overnight at Hotel In Leh. Day 3
Leh to Nubra Valley (125 Kms / aprx. 06 hrs) After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world)at 18,390 ft,around 39kms from Leh.Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas.we will drive to Hunder past an area of sand dunes and get acquainted with the famous Bactrian camels, small population of shaggy double-humped animals, which in the old days, were used as pack animals on the Central Asian Trade routes are now used as riding animals in the high deserts. We will ride the double hump camel at Hunder on direct payment basis. In the evening we will drive back to the camp. Dinner and overnight in camp at Nubra.(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 4
Nubra-Turtuk-Nubra: After breakfast, leave for Turtuk. On the way visit Diskit Monastery. Turtuk is the last village on the Indian side of the border and was taken over by the Indian Army during the Kargil War. You will be mesmerised by the beauty in the Simplicity of Turtuk and its people. Return to Nubra. Overnight at your camp.(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Day 5
Nubra–Pangong Lake–Leh: Today after early breakfast we proceed for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft.), ride through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motor able road in the world. Visit Shyok River & Durbuk, Arrive at Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Get your pictures clicked on Yellow Scooter like Bollywood blockbuster movie 3 Idiots.Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake with multi-colour reflections and fascinating high altitude of the Lake.After spending some times at Pengong lake we will drive to Leh.Dinner and overnight stay at Leh hotel.(Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 6
Leh:After an breakfast check out from your hotel & proceed to visit:Shri Patthar Sahib Gurudwara - Situated on the Srinagar-Leh Road, 25kms before the Leh. The Gurdwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. According to local story Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji rested at this place while his journey to Tibet & Srinagar.Magnetic Hill – Also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity, Sangam of the rivers Indus & Zanskar – two of Himalaya's great rivers; Zanskar and Indus merge to form a spectacular view.Evening Tea/Coffee & Snacks  At The Bank Of Indus River - CARAVAN Return to camping site to enjoy your Hot Cup Of Tea/Coffee at the Bank Of River.Overnight at Hotel in LEH.(Breakfast,Evening Tea & Dinner)
Day 7
Leh Departure: Today, bid farewell to your Leh Holidays tour,as you are transferred to Airport in Leh for your onward journey.

Cancellation Policy

  • Sixty days before departure - Booking amount or Rs 5,000/- P.P
  • 45-60 days before departure - 25% of the tour cost
  • 45-30 days before departure - 50% of the tour cost.
  • 30-01 days before departure – 100% of the tour cost.
  • No Show Due To Any Reason – 100% of the tour cost.
  • (Above cancellation policy not applicable if the entire country or state goes to lock down due to any reason. Passenger would get refunds after deducting PML Holidays service charges.)
